- CHICAGO, IL, December 09, 2007 - Every year, Illinois Meeting + Events magazine nominates three to four finalists in each of the 21 categories for their annual "Best Of" awards. This year, the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile is proud to announce their two finalist positions for "Best Convention Center" and "Best Hotel with More than 400 Rooms."
Hundreds of ballots were submitted and finalists were then painstakingly selected by the Editorial Advisory Board. While the winners aren't announced until the exclusive gala in March, and in the Spring 2008 issue of the magazine, this
