Dawn Phillips has been a contributing illustrator for Stories for Children Magazine since its launch in April 2007. Dawn Phillips already had three illustrated books when she joined as an illustrating contributor, since then Phillips has crossed over into writing for children with her two latest books, "How Mr. Sausage Found Silver" due for release April 2008 and, "The Mother's Spell - a Funny Fairytale" now available through Athse Publishing http://ww.athsepublishing.com/newsite/.
When asked during the interview, with Mrs. Jacobson-Huest, when she first started thinking of becoming an illustrator, Dawn Phillips had this to say, "When my 'Art Masterpieces' were showcased on the 'Wall of Fame'. My autographed doodles could be found on papers, walls, cars, etc. Did you know that a Kindergartener could create a 'Wok of Art' utilizing scissors and household carpeting? Too bad mom and dad weren't impressed."
