/24-7PressRelease/ -- Under the terms of a US$1.6 million contract, Datacraft was tasked with planning, designing and implementing a TelePresence solution in conferencing facilities at five different hotels across the Indian subcontinent. This state-of-the-art meeting solution now allows hotel guests and corporate customers to hold high quality video conference calls with customers and colleagues in any location with a similar system installed.

The Cisco TelePresence system includes 65" plasma screens, microphones, cameras, high definition codes and other elements required to create a 'same room' meeting experience between different parties who may be located thousands of miles apart. The life-size images and video clarity allows participants to see every expression and every movement of the people they are talking to on screen, while CD-quality audio ensures that every word can be clearly heard. These factors combine to create a heightened sense of reality.
This 'in-person' meeting experience ensures that users enjoy the benefits of face-to-face interaction. Besides enabling top level executive meetings, the TelePresence system is well suited for day-to-day tasks such as long distance job interviews; customer service troubleshooting in remote locations; sales demonstrations; design collaboration; and staff meetings between personnel in separate offices across different countries or continents.
"Having deployed most of the TelePresence sites in Asia, Datacraft was able to draw on its experience and the expertise of its engineers across the region to ensure the rapid and successful completion of this project," said Manglore.
To date, Datacraft has implemented over 60 TelePresence systems for an extensive portfolio of clients ranging from financial and educational institutions to telecoms service providers and hospitality providers.
