Industry Experts Magazine Selects Ciro Martinez, PhD, JD, LLM as a Distinguished Professional in His Field

    FORT MYERS, FL, September 07, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ciro Martinez, PhD, JD, LLM, International Corporate Lawyer, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in his field through Industry Experts Magazine for his outstanding dedication to the field of law and real estate.

Well recognized for his work in commercial litigation, general civil litigation, business law, trust and estate planning, wealth management, and foreclosure defense, Ciro Martinez, PhD, JD, LLM is known as one of Southwest Florida's most influential Lawyers. Initially beginning his career in Miami, Florida after completing his schooling, he relocated to Fort Myers, Florida years later and has since also earned the title of Entrepreneur in the real estate market, building and remodeling entry level residential homes, luxury waterfront homes, vacation rentals, Section 8 housing, commercial real estate, and commercial land throughout the state of Florida.

Just this year, Dr. Martinez facilitated the sale of a five-story, Class A, multitenant office building in Cape Coral, Florida, which was sold to Royal Palm Coast Holdings, a Florida corporation representing Royal Palm Coast Realtors Association (formerly known as Cape Coral/Fort Myers & The Beach Realtor Association). Martinez helped negotiate, alongside Daniel Santacoloma of Town Brickell Real Estate, an approval on the short sale of the 51,000 square foot facility, which was one of the largest office buildings sales in Lee County for the year.

Throughout Dr. Martinez's career, he has lectured on various topics in his field, and is a published author. Some of his works include: 'What Attorneys Need to Know About the Subprime Mortgage Crisis'; 'Investigating in Precious Metals in Times of Economic Stress'; and 'Retirement in a New Environment'.

"My works addressed the past financial crisis and are basically survival guides for attorneys and the population in general. Unfortunately, I am starting to see some of the same indices and foresee a round-two," Dr. Martinez said.

Most recently, Martinez become involved in the nutraceutical industry, having developed and created health products for women, athletes, and general health. He currently has four patents pending and five registered trademarks.

Graduating as Valedictorian at Saint Brendan Catholic School in Miami, Florida, Martinez then completed Columbus High School, an all-boys Catholic prep school in the top 10% of his class. Attending Florida International University, he earned his BA in Finance and International Business, followed by his MBA in Accounting and PhD in Business Administration at Washington University, JD at Northwestern University School of Law, and LLM in International Taxation and Financial Services at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He also earned a Certificate of Expertise in E-Commerce and Intellectual Property and is a Chartered Wealth Manager.

Active with several professional organizations, Martinez is a member of American Academy of Financial Management and is a member and serves on the Board of Standards for the American Academy of Project Management. He is a also a member of his local Knights of Columbus and Saint Catholic church and volunteers with Cross International.
