IRVINE, CA, March 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bill Carpou, Partner and Executive Vice President of Profit Recovery Partners, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in marketing and operations management.

Bill Carpou joined Profit Recovery Partners (PRP) in September 2008 as a partner and Executive Vice President. PRP is a privately held professional services firm focused on the identification, negotiation and implementation of a wide range of categories that reduce SG&A. Mr Carpou is responsible for the firm's revenue growth initiatives as well as their solutions management practice areas. Prior to joining PRP Bill served in a variety of senior executive positions at IKON Office Solutions for 18 years. Mr. Carpou has served as Vice President of Marketing; Vice President of Mid-Market Sales, North America; Vice President & General Manager Southern California; Executive Vice President for the Mid Atlantic Region and Vice President, Sales and Marketing for the companies Northeast Region.

Mr. Carpou has had diverse experiences including full P&L responsibility of $195m; sales P&L responsibility of $1B; acquisition responsibility as part of the companies growth strategy; extensive vendor relationships and negotiations with Asian suppliers; and leading sales organizations of all sizes to achieve their performance goals. He has also worked with distressed operations taking over the company's most distressed operation in 1998 and leading it to one of the most profitable within IKON. Mr. Carpou also has experience with public boards and presenting strategic objectives and financial results to investors and Wall Street analysts.

Prior to joining IKON Office Solutions, Mr. Carpou served as Vice President of Investments for Merrill Lynch in Philadelphia. He also held a variety of sales, marketing and management positions at Xerox Corporation from 1976 to 1990. Bill holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Villanova University. He has served on the board of the Barclay Theatre, serves on the Dean's Advisory Board at the Villanova School of Business and is a member of the Chief Executive Roundtable at the University of California, Irvine. For his work efforts, he has received the following awards: National Top Performing Operation, IKON (2001), Regional Top Performing Operation, IKON (2000, 2002, 2003), Above and Beyond Award, IKON Senior Management (2005, 2007). He resides in Laguna Beach, California and enjoys golfing, wine tasting and traveling in his free time. In the future, Mr. Carpou hopes to aid in the expansion of his company.
