/Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Catherine J. Suchomski, Staff Registered Nurse at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.
With nine years of professional experience, Ms. Suchomski attributes her success to her goal-oriented nature. As a staff registered nurse, she is in charge of managing vascular and trauma units, consulting with patients on diabetes and wound care, assisting team members, overseeing policy and procedure boards, and assessing patients' conditions. She has worked in various specialties including vascular, hepatobiliary, trauma, kidney transplantation and dialysis. Prior to her career in nursing, she was a dairy farmer.
Ms. Suchomski completed her fellowship in perioperative studies at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She recently completed her certified legal nurse consultant designation (2010). She is currently pursuing her certification in forensic nursing from Kaplan University. She is a member of the National Association of Legal Nurse Consultants.
