    /24-7PressRelease/ - San Antonio, TX, August 27, 2008 - San Antonio-based InGenesis Medical Staffing announces it ranks No. 2027 on the Inc.5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies for 2008. The 10-year-old HR firm made its debut in the top half of the prestigious Inc. magazine list by posting revenues of $947,378 in 2004 and $2.7 million in 2007; activity reflecting phenomenal 182.7 percent growth.

An analysis of Inc.5000 data also reveals InGenesis:
• ranked No. 1 in the Human Resources category in San Antonio, and is the sole local honoree in this industry;
• ranked No. 12 among the 25 fastest-growing private companies in San Antonio (all industries);
• ranked No. 11 among the 18 fastest-growing private Human Resources companies in Texas, and is the only medical staffing firm serving the Dept. of Defense plus major hospital accounts for the State of Texas;
• ranked No. 175 among the 378 fastest-growing private firms in Texas (all industries);
• ranked No. 89 among America's Top 100 private Human Resources companies.
The Inc.5000 list is the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy - America's independent-minded entrepreneurs. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy, says Inc., sponsor of the two-year-old recognition program. To qualify for the list companies must have reported at least $200,000 in revenue in 2004 and $2 million in 2007. They also had to be U.S.-based and privately held, for profit and independent (not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies) as of December 31, 2007.

In its online profile of InGenesis (published on http://www.inc5000.com), Inc. stated the company's landing of contracts with Mayo Clinic, the Department of Veterans Affairs and the University of Texas-Health Science Center were "noteworthy" accomplishments. (A few weeks after the Inc. interview, InGenesis won a $7.7 million staffing contract with the Ft. Bliss Army facility in El Paso.)

"It's a significant milestone in our history to be part of this elite group of fast-growing companies," says InGenesis President and Founder Veronica Edwards. "I'm very proud of all the talented staff, employees, advisors and vendors who have worked alongside me the past 10 years to help make InGenesis so successful."

Ms. Edwards explains that her medical staffing business is thriving due to a shortage of medical professionals needed to care for the country's aging population. While the demand is high, there is "only a small group of companies that know how to recruit and keep those professionals," she says. "InGenesis is one of those select companies. Our commitment to using the latest technology, staying on top of industry trends, and adhering to sound business practices allows us to provide exceptional healthcare staffing to our clients."

Inc. has invited Ms. Edwards to attend its September 20th awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. This event caps a three-day educational and networking conference by honoring the CEOs of companies named to the 2008 Inc.500 and Inc.5000 lists.

The metro area with the highest median revenue is Grand Rapids, MI ($26.2 million) followed by San Antonio ($21.3 million). According to Inc.5000 Project Manager Jim Melloan, the 5000 companies that made the list reported aggregate revenue of $185 billion and median three-year growth of 147 percent. (InGenesis ranked above the median with its 182.7 percent growth rate.) Most important, he notes, is that fact these companies created at least 826,033 jobs since they were founded.
