Insider Tips for Still Booking a Luxury Caribbean Christmas

Reservations Managers Share Why It's Not Too Late to Plan a Destination Holiday Vacation

WILLIAMSBURG, VA, November 20, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Holiday wishes can still come true for those hoping to hear Christmas carols dancing off of steel pans, to dine on freshly caught spiny lobster in lieu of glazed ham and ready to trade sweaters for swimsuits. These insider tips can make a Caribbean Christmas the season's best present and a reality at the region's top resorts.

Advice from Reservations Managers
At the heart of planning a luxury Caribbean Christmas is the reservations team. These vacation planning experts know the resort inside and out and can help squeeze in that last minute holiday getaway.
- Don't be shy. If the booking engine on a hotel's website shows no availability, call reservations. Sometimes there are late cancellations or they can find rooms that may not readily appear online.
- Just ask. Some resorts have 7-day stay requirements. There may be a 5- or 6-day opening that wouldn't show up on the booking engine. You wouldn't know it unless you called.
- Flexibility has its rewards. At times there are two 3-day openings back-to-back where a hotel can accommodate a guest with a room change. There may even be a slight discount to compensate for the inconvenience. Either way, a holiday vacation can be enjoyed.
