Interior Decorating as a Career gains New Credibility through The Society of Decorating Professionals The SDP is the International Voice of Expert Decorating Professionals Trained in a variety of Interior Decorating Specialties.

    /24-7PressRelease/ - Chicago, IL, May 30, 2008 - Kristine Porter, Executive Director is pleased to announce that The Society of Decorating Professionals (The SDP) has been approved as an Authorized Provider of The International Association for Continuing Education and Training Continuing Education Units (IACET CEUs). This approval is the result of a strict evaluation of the educational processes of the professional training programs and teaching methods implemented by The SDP Certified Trainers. The SDP has been found to meet IACET's internationally recognized stringent standards. "This honor adds new credibility to our training programs and equally important, to our members," stated Porter. "It sets a new standard of excellence for entrepreneurs who offer interior decorating and its various specialties as a business model." The SDP is the only decorating association that is authorized to offer the internationally recognized IACET CEUs, the hallmark of quality in continuing education and training.

Benefits to graduates of The SDP Approved Courses:

• All graduates receive a certificate of completion in one or more of the decorating specialties depending on their class choice

• The SDP also provides business and marketing classes geared to the decorating entrepreneur which receive a certificate of completion

• All graduates receive a certificate of IACET CEUs granted by The SDP based on actual class hours

• Graduates who are members of or who choose to join The SDP as an Associate Member ($200 initial membership) will be eligible for upgrade to Certified Member status upon successful completion of The SDP Approved Course of their choice and achieving a passing grade on The SDP Certification Test.
