/24-7PressRelease/ - OXFORD, UK, August 15, 2006 - Competition within internet marketing is growing, as one survey indicates that online advertising and sales budgets are on the increase.
IPA Digital said that 30 per cent of firms in the UK have reported an increase to their internet marketing spend in the second quarter of 2006, while six per cent said they had decreased the share of the budget.
In addition, the number of firms allocating more than ten per cent of their total marketing budget to the internet rose to 17 per cent, while the number of companies spending nothing on online ads fell to 11 per cent - a record low.
