Prior to joining italki, Mr. Pang was the GM of Marketing and Business Development at Beijing Sinopost Co., Ltd. In addition, italki appointed William Bao Bean, business angel and a partner at venture capital firm Softbank China & India Holdings, to its Board of Directors.
At italki, Eric Pang will focus on expanding italki's business relationships and partnerships, as well as developing its international marketing. Yongyue Jiang, CEO of italki, said, "We chose Eric because of his startup experience and his management skills. Mr. Pang brings more than 18-years of experience in technology startups and consumer-oriented businesses. "Eric's experience with online payment platforms will be hugely beneficial to italki. William Bao Bean joined italki's Board of Directors because of his strong belief in the team and the concept.
