A long-time champion of the needs of physically disabled children, ITERA International Group of Companies has long supported the Fund through the donation of special books, made to enrich the lives of kids who are visually impaired. This support was honored in a special award ceremony, held at the Sergievo-Posad Children's Home for Children Suffering Blindness with Deafness. During the ceremony, ITERA was not only lauded for its charitable acts, but also congratulated for its 20th anniversary, which the company is currently celebrating.

In fact, the company has supported the Program for Production of Books for Blind Children for 13 years straight. These efforts have received awards from numerous sources, including multiple commendations from UNESCO.
During the awards ceremony, representatives of the Fund commented that ITERA not only answers the call for financial support, year after year, but that it goes above and beyond merely sending a check. The company routinely sends representatives to meet some of the children being helped, to get to know them and to offer personal words of friendship and encouragement.
Meanwhile, Vyacheslav Nazarov, Chairman of ITERA Charity and Sponsorship Council, says that the award means a great deal to the company, which prides itself on helping those in need, calling social responsibility one of the most important principles of the business.
