Jackie L. Weber Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Candle Manufacturing and Sales

    Pasadena, Maryland, December 28, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jackie L. Weber, president and chief executive officer for Jaxx Candles LLC, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in candle manufacturing and sales.

Ms. Weber has been a software engineer since 1992, but her true passion is candles and candle making. She has been making candles part time since 2002 and, in 2010, she turned her passion into a business, Jaxx Candles. In addition to hand-poured candle design and manufacturing, she is involved in fragrance product creation. The candles and fragrance products are used for bridal and baby showers, weddings and other occasions. She is instrumental in all sales and marketing, including website development. She networks with other small businesses in Maryland and partners with other vendors for charitable events. She attributes her success to being highly motivated, having a passion for what she does, and working hard.

Ms. Weber received a Master of Science in Telecommunication and Information Systems from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She serves as secretary and membership chair for the International Guild of Candle Artisans, Inc. She also donates time and resources to various charitable endeavors.
