In 1978 Ms. Paralis earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Business Management and Psychology from Seton Hill University and in 1992 added professional certifications in Computer Science and Information Technology and Accounting Technology. Ms. Paralis is a member of the American Management Association, the Business Technology Associates, LLC, Managed Print Services Association, and Dealer Network, and is an advisory board member for several industry associations and national publications.

For five years straight Ms. Paralis received the "Five-Star Industry Award" from Everything Channel for outstanding development and execution of the Oki Data National Partners Program. She is also a two-time recipient of the Management Executive Committee Awards for Outstanding Performance. Looking ahead, she is an active participant in the convergence and evolution of today's segmented, IT Channel business models helping partners to transition from a hardware focused business model to a professional services infrastructure.
