/24-7PressRelease/ -- JAMES AND JOSEPH was a huge hit over the weekend, performing to a sold out crowd of local theater patrons! Audiences were shocked and amazed to find out the twist ending of the show & how well the actors did at concealing the ending up until the very last moment. It had most patrons promising to come back again just to catch the things they missed the first time.
To sweeten the deal and to entice even more patrons to come out and support the show, Amencipation Productions, I.R. Productions and And...Action! Productions are offering $5 dollars off the price of admission if an unwrapped toy is brought to the performance to donate to Each One Teach One's annual Toy Drive. Each One Teach One, is a local California non-profit organization that strives to help homeless children and adults on the streets of LA.

WHAT:
James and Joseph - a drama - written by Jaimyon Parker. Directed by Malika Perkins.
Amencipation Productions, L.L.C. , Imaginative Reality Productions and And...Action Productions have teamed up to raise awareness and much needed aid for those organizations that work to treat and prevent drug abuse through the arts.
"James and Joseph" centers on the life of Joseph, the pastor of a local church, who is dealing with community expectations and drug abuse in his family. Pastor Joseph is waging a war against the drug addiction that grips his brother James and stems all the way back to his childhood. A war that he is loosing quickly. All while trying to stay atop the Christian role model pedestal that the community has placed him on and court the object of his affection, the beautiful Patti. In the end, despite walking this precarious tightrope, he will discover startling revelations about himself and the "family" he has fought so hard to protect. Forcing him to make a choice that will forever change his life.
Patrons will also be given a free drug prevention kit entitled "The Truth About Drugs". These kits were donated by "Our Commitment, Inc.'s Project Square One".
