Originally born in Hudson, NY, to James and Sandra Simpson, Mr. Simpson grew up in Saint Petersburg, FL, and attended Furman University in Greenville, SC. He earned a JD with the University of Memphis in 1991, and is admitted to practice in Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and New York as well as a number of U.S. District Courts and various U.S. Courts of Appeals. He has appeared as a counsel of record in cases throughout the country.
Over many years of legal service, Mr. Simpson has been recognized as a member of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, prestigious groups limited to attorneys who have won verdicts in the relevant amounts. In his private life, Mr. Simpson enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, running, swimming, and biking. He is the proud parent of Thomas, John, Matthew, and Phillip Simpson, alongside his wife, Kristine, who is also an attorney. Mr. Simpson finds joy in his grandson, James Christian Simpson.
