- Boston, MA, July 16, 2008, Dr. Jana R. Schipper, Pharmacist for CVS Caremark Corp., has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of pharmaceutical management.
With a specialization in managing natural healthcare products sales, Dr. Schipper is responsible for filling prescriptions and counseling patients on natural healthcare products and general nutrition. She became involved in her profession because of her love for medicine and previously worked at CVS Pharmacy in the sales department and as a pharmacy technician/intern for seven years. Dr. Schipper considers obtaining her Doctor of Pharmacy to be the highlight of her career and attributes her success to her hard work, education and willingness to learn.
Dr. Schipper received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and her Associate of Arts in Pre-Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati. She completed a certification in pharmacy-based immunization delivery and is affiliated with the (APhA) American Pharmacists Association and (ASHP) American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She has written articles for Natural Standard and is a recipient of the Natural Standard Award. Dr. Schipper stays current with the trends in her profession by enrolling in continuing education courses and hopes to complete a residency in neuroscience.
