She began her career in the role of administrative assistant for DeVilbiss Co., where she worked from 1969 until 1977, following her graduation with an Associate of Applied Business from Cuyahoga Community College. Following her time in that position, she became a project director for the National Survey Research Center while earning a second undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts, through Baldwin-Wallace College. Throughout her career, she has also worked as a market research manager for Sherwin-Williams, and an instructor at both of her undergraduate alma maters.
An alumnus of Case Western Reserve University and the Trinity College of Natural Health, Dr. Semple also holds an MBA and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. In order to remain active among her professional community, she affiliates herself with the Sunshine Health Freedom Coalition, the American Association of Nutritional Consultants, and the American Naturopathic Medical Association. She has authored nine books in her Naturopathic Approach Series including Alzheimer Disease, Blood Pressure, Breast Cancer Prevention and Treatment, Cholesterol & Inflammation, Fertility, Influenza, Healthy Vibrant Skin, HPV & Cervical Dysplasia and Parkinson Disease. She is active in the local community and with charities including Family Promise of Greater Cleveland and Urban Hope.
