Jazz for Peace Benefit Concert to Feature Student Musicians
/24-7PressRelease/ - SCOTTSDALE, AZ, August 30, 2006 - Jazz for Peace has been doing benefit concerts for the past three years. On September 29th they will perform one for INSPIREHealth.org to raise money for drug abuse prevention and for the first time they have invited student muscians to join them on stage.
The concert features Rick DellaRatta, one of the top jazz vocalists of all time with a 13 piece jazz orchetra. With the concert in Scottsdale they will do something they have never done before, invite students to join them on stage. Music department heads at each of the 10 high schools in the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley Unified School Districts will pick the best student musician at their school to play three numbers during the concert.
