/24-7PressRelease/ - LAS VEGAS, NV, July 09, 2008 - Jeff Gilbert has joined the business coaching firm headed by Rick Munson and will be practicing in Monroe County and the surrounding areas.
Prior to joining ActionCOACH, Gilbert was the lending manager for the ESSA bank.
He was instrumental in creating and developing a commercial lending group, which grew to five commercial lenders and support staff. Gilbert's efforts led to the growth in their portfolio to over 200 banking relationships.
Gilbert believes that his listening skills will help him in his new role as an ActionCOACH.
"I am able to incorporate the needs and wants of clients and put them into structured plans in order to meet their objectives," he said. "I am also able to analyze financial information, assess the client's financial health and create a plan or solution to help them."
Tired of the corporate environment, Gilbert decided to join ActionCOACH.
"ActionCOACH has an innovative approach; its systems and programs are easy to comprehend and implement for the coach as well as the client," he said.
ActionCOACH will provide Gilbert with the ability to fulfill his entrepreneurial dreams and allow him to continue working with local businesses. "I am excited about the prospect of my business success being directly linked to my performance," he said.
Gilbert is actively involved within the local business community.
A past President of the Rotary Club of the Stroudsburgs, he is currently the Assistant Governor for six clubs within a 45-club Rotary District. He is also the co-chairman for coordinating the annual Rotary District Conference Forum. Currently he is the council Vice President for his Church, and he is also a board member of the Community Service Bloc Grant (CSBG).
Gilbert is actively involved as a board member for the Sherman Theater. Additionally, he is active with the United Way and is a member of the Pocono Chamber of Commerce, and Jacob Stroud Corporation- a downtown business development organization.
