Jeffrey S. Cutter Honored by Marquis Who's Who for Achievements in Music Education

Mr. Cutter was featured in 10 editions of Who's Who in the World



    WARREN, MI, April 12, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jeffrey S. Cutter has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Backed by more than 40 years of practiced industry experience in music education, Mr. Cutter serves as a band director for numerous organizations, including the Weekend School of Music, which is sponsored by the Southeast Michigan Arts Forum. The program offers instrumental and music theory classes on Saturdays for students from elementary school to high school. Mr. Cutter prepared for these endeavors by earning a Bachelor of Music, a Master of Education, and a master's degree in educational leadership and administration from Wayne State University. He also became affiliated with prestigious organizations like the ASBDA Education Foundation, the Warren Symphony Society, Warren Concert Band, Inc., and the American School Band Directors Association.

At the start of his career, Mr. Cutter joined the Michigan State Fair Department of Entertainment & Special Events, and Detroit Lions Entertainment. In 1980, Mr. Cutter began as a performing arts facilitator for Warren Consolidated Community Education, and stayed there until 2006. More recently, he worked for Warren Consolidated Schools and Paul K. Cousino High School, as curriculum consultant and band director, respectively.
Mr. Cutter's hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed. In 2008, he won a Government Service Award from the Warren Historical and Genealogical Society, and two years later, he was named an Outstanding Volunteer through the City of Warren. Additionally, Mr. Cutter has been featured in the 25th volume of Who's Who in the Midwest, 10 volumes of Who's Who in the World, and the 3rd through 8th volumes of Who's Who in American Education.
