/24-7PressRelease/ - Overland Park, KS, August 3, 2008, Jennifer L. Burgett, Quality Audit Program Manager of Black & Veatch Holding Company, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of quality assurance.

With more than 20 years of professional experience, Ms. Burgett specializes in quality auditing and is responsible for overseeing auditors, training and certifying lead auditors, and developing the audit schedule and publishing. She previously worked as a quality inspector for 10 years and as a quality analyst for three years. Also previously a teacher, she considers promoting 73 of 75 seventh-grade students up two grades in their reading level over the course of one year to be the highlight of her career and attributes her success to her personal drive and dedication. She stays current with the trends in her profession by attending conferences. Ms. Burgett believes that a lack of senior leadership support is the most important issue facing her profession today.

Ms. Burgett received her MBA from West Texas A&M University and her Master's Degree in Liberal Arts from Baker College. She is affiliated with the American Society for Quality and volunteers with the Children International and United Way International. She hopes to become the director of quality in the future.
