/24-7PressRelease/ - Richmond, KY, June 1, 2008, Jerome 'Jey' Marks, Associate Director of Alumni Relations for Eastern Kentucky University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in his field.

With nine years of experience in the University Higher Education setting, Mr. Marks is skilled in event planning; he coordinates a variety of reunions, projects and receptions for alumni across the United States. He is also instrumental in the division's recruiting, retention, and stewardship programs. On a daily basis, Mr. Marks advises four different student organizations, facilitates alumni events, and oversees Alumni awareness marketing. He attributes his success to his high motivation, strong work ethic, congenial disposition, and his overall love for his institution.

Mr. Marks is working on pursuing his Master's Degree at Eastern Kentucky University and received his Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University in 2000. He has been an Ambassador for the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, currently serves on the Richmond Tourism Board, PACA Ball Committee, is a Leadership Madison County graduate, and a Kentucky Colonel. He is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, the Association of Student Advancement Programs, AFA, and NACA. He received the 2008 D3 Adviser of the Year Award from the Association of Student Advancement Programs.
