Jill Wakabayashi Recognized by Worldwide Branding for Excellence in Physical Therapy

    HONOLULU, HI, February 12, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jill Wakabayashi has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in physical therapy.

Coming from a background in health science and physical therapy rehabilitation, Ms. Wakabayashi demonstrates an expertise in specific muscle movement function, the long-term aging process and neurology. In her career, she has been exposed to many facets of the health care industry, which led her to her role with Kapi'olani Community College. As physical therapist assistant program director, she works with students inside the classroom as an instructor. Ms. Wakabayashi is also involved with the Hawaii Parkinson Association and involves the PTA students through service learning activities. Ms. Wakabayashi continues to collaborate with the nursing, occupational therapy assistant and medical assisting programs at Kapio'lani Community College.

Ms. Wakabayashi's career is supported by a master's degree in public health, which she earned from the University of Hawaii. She stays at the top of her field by affiliating with the American Physical Therapy Association and the Physical Therapist Assistants Group. This year, Ms. Wakabayashi was recognized for her professional excellence in physical therapy by Worldwide Branding, who named her a Top Female Professional. As she looks to the next phase of her career, Ms. Wakabayashi plans to create new programs while continuing to support her students at the college.
