/24-7PressRelease/ - NORTH CHARLESTON, SC, June 29, 2008 - Texan salesman Ralph Donovan and his wife Tammy found out the hard way the IRS means business when you owe them back taxes.

Ralph Donovan worked on commission and made an error not uncommon to self-employed or commissioned taxpayers; he didn't have enough taxes withheld from his pay. When his tax liability grew, Mr. Donovan contacted a tax resolution company to help him. When they failed to help, his bank account was levied and the Donovan family was in jeopardy of losing their home. That's when Donovan turned to JK Harris and Company, LLC, the nation's largest tax resolution company.

The Donovans had reached a desperate point, due to the lack of assistance they received from the first tax resolution company they had hired. The IRS was about to levy their bank account again, which would have left them without money to pay the mortgage or for absolute necessities, such as food and medications.

"Immediately following my meeting with my JK Harris consultant, I was contacted by several friendly associates from JK Harris who had already started on my case," said Donovan. "Information was requested (from me), they explained what they were doing and why...my levy was lifted completely within one week."

Following the lifting of the IRS levy, the audit team began work on Donovan's tax issues. The IRS was auditing the Donovans, so JK Harris filed the necessary paperwork for audit reconsideration on Mr. Donovan's behalf. The IRS accepted the audit appeal and lowered Donovan's liability from $37,083 to $12,094. They also accepted the Installment Agreement proposed by JK Harris on Mr. Donovan's behalf.

"The Donovans worked hard to provide us all the necessary documents when we needed them," said their Case Specialist. "Mr. Donovan was very easy to help because he was extremely proactive at helping us to help him."

"Great job, JK Harris. Your hard work put my family at ease and lifted the burden of my tax debt," said Mr. Donovan. "You handled our problems and allowed us to move on with our lives - thank you very much, JK Harris and Company!"
