Sir Winston Churchill, the legendary leader of Britain in WWII, once wrote that: "Joan was a being so uplifted from the ordinary run of mankind that she finds no equal in a thousand years." Andrew Lang, famous Scottish author and historian in comparing Joan to William Wallace said: "She was the bravest of the brave."
