/Cambridge Who's Who/ -- John H. Taylor, Business Manager for Paradise Memorial Funeral Home, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in management and funeral services.
Mr. Taylor has over 25 years of experience in Employment and Training /Management with Miami-Dade County government and is now business manager for his own family funeral services business. An exceptional manager, he is in charge of managing employee relations and business operations in addition to meeting with families and directing funeral services. Mr. Taylor is proud to be closely associated with a funeral home that has built a reputation for professionalism, quality and compassionate service. He attributes his success to hard work.
In addition to industry-related training, Mr. Taylor received a Master's Degree in Counseling Education in 1976 from Florida International University, a Bachelor's Degree from Federal City College (now the University of the District of Columbia). He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard where he held the rank of Lieutenant Commander. During his tour of duty with the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, he was the Training and Administrative Officer for Base Miami Beach, Miami Beach, Florida and Executive Officer at the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is a member of the Reserve Officers Association, Vice President of the Andre' Dawson Foundation and volunteers regularly with the Armed Forces Service Center and the Sickle Cell Foundation. Mr. Taylor looks forward to developing Paradise Memorial Funeral Home further in the coming years.
