Mr. Vassallo received a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1962 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College in 1959. He was admitted to practice law in New York in 1962, the 2nd circuit of the United States Court of Appeals in 1965, and the Southern and Eastern District of the United States District Court of New York in 1964. For almost 40 years, John Vassallo has served as a partner or of counsel at Franklin, Weinrib, Rudell and Vassallo, PC. Previously, he served as partner at Kurtz and Vassallo from 1970 to 1978 and Barovick and Konecky from 1968 to 1970. He began his career in law as an associate at Saxe, Bacon and O'Shea in 1962 and served the firm for six years. He is married to Lynne and has two children.
