MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, January 04, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Seafood brand John West has taken to the high seas to create a series of inspiring new video recipes. Each mouth-watering dish features a favourite John West fish including Pink Salmon, Smoked Mackerel and, of course, Tuna.
John West has been supplying the best, canned wild fish since 1857. In that time, they've also given us plenty of great recipes but this is the first time they've ever been filmed.
'In the Galley with Simon and Frank' gives us a hilarious glimpse into the hardships of cooking at sea, while at the same time inspiring us with a range of delicious John West meals. We join experienced chef Simon as he calmly takes us through each recipe, while less than able-bodied crewman Frank serves up the smiles as he bravely tries to work in the trawler's severely rocky conditions.
The first recipes to be aired are Salmon Salad, Salmon Teriyaki and Tuna Pasta Bake, with the promise of more craziness to come soon.
Now safely back on dry land chef Simon revealed, "there are a lot of video recipes out there but not many are as 'out there' as these".
