Joshua Betz Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Insurance

    HOUSTON, TX, April 5, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joshua Betz, President and Chief Executive Officer of Argo Surety, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in insurance.

Mr. Betz, who has close to two decades of experience in the insurance industry, was the founder of Argo Surety and is currently its president and chief executive officer. The company, which maintains offices around the United States, is one of the leading providers of underwriting services to clients in various industries needing surety bonds. In his leadership role with the company, Mr. Betz oversees all daily operations, including business development, underwriting, client relations and strategic planning. Prior to assuming his current position with Argo Surety, Mr. Betz filled a number of key roles with other leading companies in the insurance and underwriting fields, including serving as the managing director of commercial surety for Travelers, an underwriter with CNA Surety and an underwriter with Reliance Surety. Most recently, Mr. Betz functioned as the senior vice president and chief underwriting officer for Argo Surety. During his long career, he has earned a reputation for being a driven, results-oriented insurance executive with expertise in underwriting, management and client relationships.

Mr. Betz, who entered the insurance profession due to a lifelong interest in finance and underwriting, attributes his success in the field to his passion and hard work. Over the next five years, he would like to continue growing the Argo Surety business both at the national and international levels.

Mr. Betz holds a bachelor's degree in finance and business administration from Midwestern State University. He belongs to numerous professional groups, including the National Association of Surety Bond Producers, RIMS, and annually attends the Harvard Business School Executive Education Leadership Program. Outside of his professional life, he is a dedicated philanthropist who has participated and led several mission trips to Canada, Central and South America.
