Propelled by her sincere desire to help others, Dr. Schoen celebrates 45 successful years in the field of medicine. For the past three decades, she has honed her expertise in alternative medicine, non-drug natural therapies and patient assistance. She founded and operates her own practice, Mid-Florida Medical Group, through which she offers a wide range of natural healing services. Dr. Schoen takes a holistic approach to a variety of medical complaints, such as adrenal fatigue, stress and anxiety, fibromyalgia, hormone imbalances and osteoporosis. She evaluates and treats children, young adults, women and men who have medical issues or desire to optimize their health. Dr. Schoen specialized in psychiatry prior to qualifying in homeopathic medicine. She attained an MD from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1966 and went on to a rotating internship with an elective in psychiatry followed by a residency in adult psychiatry and a fellowship in child psychiatry.

Dr. Schoen later gained proficiency in chelation therapy from the American College for Advancement in Medicine and earned a certification in European Biological Medicine through the Biological Medicine Network. Most recently she earned her certification in Restorative Medicine. Dr.Schoen remains current in her field through affiliations with the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, National Center for Homeopathy, American Academy of Restorative Medicine, and European Biological Medicine Network. She plans to continue with her practice in the coming years.
