A graduate of the State University of New York, joy c holds a Bachelor of Science and graduated as a physician's assistant. She also completed graduate studies in interior decorating and is a skilled clothing and accessories designer.
Throughout her many years in the field, she has contributed to a plethora of creative works, including literary anthologies and magazines. She is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce of Greater New York and a former member of the Poetry Society of America and the International Platform Association. She has volunteered with various organizations from radio and the non-profit sector (including serving as announcer for a public school's boy's baseball team), and graduated as a "Gray Lady" in the Red Cross. joy c has been awarded many times for her work in the field.
