Judith Desouza Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who

    NAUGATUCK, CT, July 7, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Judith Desouza, Distribution Planner for BIC Consumer Products USA, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of her career.

With nine years of experience of being a distribution planner, Ms. Desouza is responsible for balancing warehouses based on inventory goals, acting as a liaison with customer service, highlighting any supplying issues with supply planners, working as part of the supply chain engineering and network services department, helping to set the network for the processing of orders and performing root cause analysis of supply chain network issues. She started her career in export sales with Burndy, moved to supply chain production in the Dominican Republic a and saw development in the Asian markets before joining BIC.

A member of The Association for Operations Management, Ms. Desouza attributes her success to her hard work, consistency and to the support she receives from her family and colleagues. In 2000, she received her Bachelor of Science in Management, from Teikyo Post University.

Ms. Desouza had a daughter, Bryanna, who was born with Niemann-Pick Disease, type C, a rare genetic, progressive metabolic, neurological disease, which is ultimately fatal. Bryanna passed when she was 14-years-old. In medical research, it is found to have associated links to heart disease, Alzheimer's disease, seizure and stroke disorders.
