    SPARKS, NV, February 25, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Judith M. Allen, RN, MS, Patient Care Manager for VistaCare Hospice, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in health care administration.

Throughout her nearly 50-year career in health care, Ms. Allen believes that her ability to gain experience and knowledge, and meet people and make friends are the most gratifying aspects. For the past eight years, she has served as the patient care manager for VistaCare Hospice, a leading provider of hospice care services throughout communities in 14 states.

Ms. Allen is charged with overseeing patient care services and is entrusted to supervise nurses, social workers, spiritual care workers and the intra-disciplinary team. The recipient of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a master's degree in human resource and organizational development, she takes pride in educating patients and their families about diseases and health care. She also teaches at the long-term facility.

Ms. Allen became a registered nurse in 1964 at the Champlain Valley Physicians School of Nursing in Plattsburgh, N.Y. A member of the American Nurses Association, she served as a registered nurse and colonel in the U.S. Army, from which she received an honorable discharge.
