Harris has an impressive background in operating room nursing and legal nurse consulting. With 35 years of operating room nurse experience in gynecology, orthopedics and vascular surgery, seven years of experience as a professional legal consultant and many more years of experience as an expert witness in legal cases, Harris is more than qualified to consult with attorneys and other clients in legal matters concerning the medical field. Harris received her bachelors degree in nursing administration from Saint Joseph's College of Maine and her associates degree in applied science from the New York City College of Technology. She is a member of the GI Nursing Association and former president and press secretary of the Brooklyn Chapter of the Association of Operating Room Nurses. She was secretary of the New York City College of Technology Alumni Association for four years. Harris received the Nurse Excellence Award from New York Methodist Hospital in 1999 and the Nurse Excellence Runner-Up Award from Spectrum in 2001.
