June G. Fultz, CCRN, CEN, CFRN, EMT-P, SANE, Inducted into Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Nursing Education

    MAYSVILLE, KY, January 28, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- June G. Fultz, Education Director of the Meadowview Regional Medical Center, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing education.

Ms. Fultz holds nearly three decades of experience in the field of nursing, dedicating the past 12 as education director of the Meadowview Regional Medical Center. She has served in several vocations over the years, including a flight nurse for PHI and the University of Kentucky, and in the critical care unit of a local Jewish hospital. A certified EMT- Paramedic, she is charged with managing employee orientation, training nurses and teaching advanced cardiac life support, pediatric life support and CPR techniques. Her primary area of expertise includes cardiology.

In 1984, Ms. Fultz earned an associate degree in nursing from Maysville Community and Technical College, and she is now pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the Emergency Nurses Association. A certified emergency nurse, she holds CCRN Certification, CFRN Certification and SANE Certification.

Throughout her career in the health care field, she has been recognized with the Frist Humanitarian Award in 1987 and the Mercy Award in 2002. She also supports the American Red Cross and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
