Kanekoa has recently completed filming "The Heartbreak Kid". The upcoming comedy from The Farrelly Brothers, starring Ben Stiller for Dreamworks is set for a Fall 07 release, and will feature original music from the Hawaii band.

The film chronicles a journey, both physical and emotional, a American recording engineer (Chris) takes from Hawaii to London to see his UK girlfriend. While aboard an old Routmaster Red Bus, Chris confronts a variety of characters that are about to change his life forever.
"Major Hana" is the first film in history to be filmed in Hawaii, San Diego, and Los Angeles, California, and England; and the first feature film to examine the differences of cultures found in Hawaii, England and the United States.

A new record company, Major Hana Records, launches in Hana and
releases a debut compilation CD, "'OHANA - Volume One", featuring

English) from 8 of the Island of Maui's most talented artists and bands.
Jonathan Block, Chairman of Major Hana Records, has been a manager in the
Music business for 24 years and has worked with artists including, Suzanne
Vega, Shawn Colvin, The JB Horns featuring Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley
and Pee Wee Ellis, G. Love & Special Sauce, and Fun Lovin' Criminals.
