The band and first single, "Way Down" are seen and heard through the entire wedding scene in the Ben Stiller/Farrelly Brothers film, "The Heartbreak Kid".
"Way Down" represents the first time ukulele players from the state of Hawaii have impacted American radio, as this first single gains momentum at Triple A radio stations around the country.
The band's lead singer/songwriter and rhythm electric ukulele player, Kaulana Kanekoa, and lead electric uke player/background vocalist, Vince Esquire's version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" has been an international iTunes hit on the Folk Charts for over 2 years.
"Somewhere" has been Number 1 in the US, Australia, Canada, England, France, and, New Zealand.
Kanekoa will play Los Angeles, California on Wednesday, February 6th, at The Mint, at 10:00pm.
