Coming from a family of artists, Ms. Hancock decided to study graphic arts at the college level. After graduation, she began work in the customer relation department within Southwest Bell and transitioned into the company's graphic arts department. She has continued an upward climb in her career ever since.

Today, with 27 years of professional experience, Ms. Hancock serves as an art director for Local Search Media and Advertising, a division of YP. She has an astute ability to identify talent in staff and develop their skills. She is also highly proficient assessing the requirements of her clients in terms of their artistic needs. Furthermore, Ms. Hancock is an excellent communicator who works with the company's sales offices and marketing department. She expertly produces sales collateral, graphics for bus stations, stadium signage, LED displays, sales conferences and other internal and external advertising needs for the YP sales & marketing organizations.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Hancock plans to grow in her position and continue developing the department as an asset to the company. She is also considering the possibility of pursuing teaching opportunities as she approaches retirement. When Ms. Hancock isn't working, she enjoys spending time outdoors.
