Karen Moulder Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Sport Horse and Llama Breeding
Press Release July 12, 2008
She is also a professional singer and musician.

/24-7PressRelease/ - Middletown Springs, VT, July 12, 2008, Karen Moulder, Owner, Operator and Founder of Ambleside Farm, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of breeding.

Ms. Moulder has more than 21 years of active professional experience, the last five of which have been as owner of Ambleside Farm, LLC. She specializes in breeding warm blood sport horses and exotic animals, such as llamas, and her responsibilities include training young horses and management of the farm. She became involved in her profession because of her on-site training from reputable horseman and veterinarian Dr. E. Barclay Rile in 1973 and attributes her success to her respect for animals and her ability to select the best characteristics of animals for breeding. One of the most gratifying aspects of her career is witnessing the birth of a foal and then seeing it develop a relationship with humans and the herd.

Previously, Ms. Moulder worked for trainer Jack Trainor, managing his hunter/show barn "Here and There Farm" in Spring House, PA, and worked as an equine reproduction specialist with Dr. Sherilyn Allen, as a veterinary technician with Dr. E. Barclay Rile, and as the Curator of the Bermuda Society of Arts. She is also a commercial copywriter and voice over artist for radio as well as a professional singer and musician. In addition, Ms. Moulder worked as a choreographer and aerobic dance instructor in Bermuda, where she managed her own retail businesses.

Ms. Moulder is a member of the Green Mountain Horse Association, the United States Dressage Federation, and a former member of the Professional Horsemen's Association of America, Inc. Ms. Moulder stays current with the trends in her profession by reading Equus, Practical Horseman, Dressage Today, Stable Management and other related publications, as well as keeping in touch with other trainers.
