Kathleen A. Phelan to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry

Kathleen A. Phelan's study on hysteria and sexual behaviors was published in 2008



    WOLFFORTH, TX, July 29, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kathleen A. Phelan, Student at Texas Tech University College of Education and Student at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership, and excellence.

A doctorate student in counseling and education, a graduate student in counseling and disabilities, with an interest in art therapy, Ms. Phelan specializes in creative development across the lifespan. She is published in two subjects, female hysteria and the sixth sense. She is an expert in women's issues, currently conducting research on the topic of older women and younger men relationships and social stigmas. Her interest in art led her to pursue her education in philosophy and counseling.

In addition to pursing her Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Counseling Education from Texas Tech University College of Education and pursuing her Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences, in 2008 Ms. Phelan received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology cum laude and her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies cum laude, both from Texas Tech University. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, and the American Rehabilitation Counseling Associations. She has also earned honored inductions into Psi Chi, Sigma Alpha Pi, and Golden Key International Honor Society.
