    PORTLAND, OR, August 18, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Kathryn De Domingo, Director of Performance Improvement for Progressive Rehabilitation Associates, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in speech therapy.

With 20 years of professional experience, Ms. De Domingo is recognized as an expert in outcome management and the resolution of rehabilitation reimbursement issues. In 2001, she assumed her current position at Progressive Rehabilitation Associates, a rehabilitation center specializing in treatment for chronic pain, work hardening, and acquired and traumatic brain injuries. Her responsibilities include maintaining readiness for accreditation, managing human resource outcomes, improving performance, negotiating contracts, implementing the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and performing speech therapy. Previously, Ms. De Domingo served as a clinical coordinator for the brain injury program. She attributes her success to her ability to make the most of every opportunity that is presented to her.

Ms. De Domingo holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology. She received her Master of Science in Communication Disorders in 1989 from Western Oregon University and her Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language and Hearing Disorders in 1987 from the University of Texas. She is a member of the Executive Women's Golf Association, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management. She aspires to move into an Administrator's role within the next five years.
