    HARRISONBURG, VA, January 2, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Kathryn J. Graham, Director of Nursing for Sunnyside Retirement Community, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of nursing.

With an impressive background of 33 years in the healthcare industry, Ms. Graham's expertise lies in implementing treatment plans. At her current post, she is responsible for the on-going supervision, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and scheduling of nursing personnel under the scope of the state's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure. In addition, she manages family issues, coordinates resource utilization, ensures timely and appropriate care interventions, and facilitates interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction.

Ms. Graham received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hartwick College in 1975 and is a member of the Virginia Association for Home Care and Hospice. She is a supporter of the Wildlife Center of Virginia, the Alzheimer's Association and The Humane Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
