Katie Quinn Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Automotive Sales

    TORONTO, ON, CANADA, September 25, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Katie Quinn, General Manager of BMW Toronto, was recently named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

As a general manager of BMW Toronto, Ms. Quinn oversees all day-to-day operations of the dealership, particularly with regard to upsales. Ms. Quinn is now 25 and she was named as the youngest general manager in BMW Canada history at the age of 22 as well as one of the first female general managers. She attributes her success to her hard work. She became involved in her profession through her father who brought a car dealership and she started working as a receptionist. She went to university but at the end of the day she loved cars and stayed in family business itself.

Ms. Quinn received a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management from the University of Guelph in 2008. In addition to her formal education, she completed coursework in dealer succession from the NADA Dealer Academy in 2010. She is a member of BMW Owners Worldwide, Friends for Life Foundation in support of research and treatment of cystic fibrosis and childhood cancer, and NADA. In years to come, Ms. Quinn hopes to own a dealership.
