- Charlotte, NC, July 18, 2008, Kay B. Scime, Physician Assistant at Duke University School of Medicine, has been recognized by

Ms. Scime has more than 10 years of professional experience in practicing preventive medicine and using natural herbal remedies to treat weight loss. As physician assistant, she is responsible primarily for evaluating and guiding patients on proper diet and medications for weight loss and conducting clinical research in nicotine and smoking cessation. Ms. Scime became involved in her profession because she was inspired by her parents who were physicians, and attributes her success to her diligence and passion for her profession.
A Physician Assistant-Certified, Ms. Scime earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest University in 1998. She is affiliated with the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Ms. Scime aspires to become an entrepreneur and hopes to open her own preventive medicine office featuring homeopathic and natural remedies.
