/24-7PressRelease/ -- KCRiverFest is helping families stretch their entertainment dollar by offering advance online tickets.
Regular priced adult tickets are $6 at the gate, but may be purchased online for $5 at http://www.KCRiverFest.com. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted online. Children age five and under are free. Visa and MasterCard will also be accepted at the gate July 3rd and 4th.
Presented by KCTV/myKSMO and Friends of the River—Kansas City, the acclaimed festival returns to Kansas City's Richard Berkley Riverfront Park with a fireworks spectacular by internationally-renowned Zambelli Fireworks. Last year, the 18-minute extravaganza thrilled thousands as the fireworks reflected on the waters of the Missouri River accompanied by exciting music. This year, festival goers will be treated to a "sneak preview" fireworks show on July 3rd at approximately 10 p.m.
Rock, pop, folk and country artists will perform throughout the festival, which will also offer a wide variety of food and beverages. A children's zone will feature rides, inflatables and entertainment by Radio Disney. The U.S. Army will have numerous attractions on-site to entertain and inform festival goers.
Recognized by Special Event Magazine as a 2008 finalist for Best Fair/Festival, KCRiverFest is in its fifth year of celebrating America's Independence, Kansas City style. Last year's event attracted 35,000 attendees.
