Kenneth A. Thompson Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Civil Engineering

For nearly 40 years, Kenneth A. Thompson served his industry and his country as a civil engineer. Mr. Thompson was a fighter pilot during World War II before becoming a self-employed rancher of a 5000 acre cattle ranch. For 14 years of his career, he taught engineering at Butte College and worked as a city engineer in Roseville and Pacifica.

While working in the military, Mr. Thompson was honored with the Flying Cross Medal and Air Medal with Four Oak Leaf Clusters by the United States Army Air Corps and with the Distinguished Flying Cross Medal by the United States Air Force.

Mr. Thompson recently wrote a book, which is available on the website www.barnesandnoble.com. which is entitled "Memoirs of a WWII Fighter Pilot and Some Modern Political Commentary." The book is catered to readers who enjoy learning about history and seek to understand foreign wars from the perspective of the military personnel. With the support of his wife of 57 years Helen, and his children Linda, Kerry, Nancy, and Cindy, Mr. Thompson and his book, have become an undeniable success.
