Davies brings a strong balance of market-facing, operational, strategic and transactional skills to Gaymar, leveraging more than 20 years of operating experience leading Fortune 200 firms, private-equity sponsored mid-caps and business revitalizations in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Davies' leadership experience includes 10 years as a health care executive with 3M Company and Kimberly-Clark Corporation as well as a strong track record of leading transformational growth, ambitious strategic change, and impressive financial results in a variety of product and channel-driven businesses in addition to his demonstrated results in health care.

Davies joins Gaymar after serving as President of Solutia Inc.'s CPFilms, the world's largest producer of solar control and safety film for both automotive and building applications, and a leading manufacturer of high-performance film components for the electronics industry. As President, he managed all commercial, operational and strategic initiatives of the business, spearheading the company's global growth, channel development and operational improvement.
Davies also served as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Research and Development for United Industries Corp., where he was part of a successful executive team that quadrupled the size of the business over a four-year period by acquiring and integrating similar businesses, launching innovative new products and growing organic market share.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota.
Davies succeeds Frank L. Lumbar, who ably served as CEO for the past three years and will reassume the role of Chief Financial Officer for Gaymar.
