Kenyan Organic Agribusiness Startup Offers Small Angel Investors a Unique Investing Opportunity

Migo Ranch & Farms, a startup organic farming agribusiness in Kenya is giving both small and large angel investors an attractive investment opportunity.

NAIROBI, KENYA, October 05, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The sole-proprietor business has launched a USD$10,000 donation/angel investment campaign that will run for the next 60 days.

The startup business is running its campaign on Gogetfunding (https://gogetfunding.com/inclusive-organic-farming).

Unlike with the traditional crowdfunding campaigns, the business has adopted a unique crowdfunding model. The business accepts both individual donations and investments by angel investors. The business will treat the two types of funding as investments.

While individual donors can donate any amount from as low as $10 as investment, established angel investors are requested to invest at least $500. According to Tom Gard, the business owner, both individual donors and established angel investors are treated as angel investors.

In response to fielded questions, Mr. Gard explains "Ours is a startup organic farming business sourcing for startup capital. Our business is properly registered and we have opened a business bank account. While we crowdfund, we do so treating every donation we receive as an investment and not as ordinary donations".

According to Mr. Gard, they plan to start their organic farming activities in early January 2018 and are banking on individual donors and angel investors to secure the necessary startup capital.

Both individual donors and angel investors are requested to donate/invest through https://gogetfunding.com/inclusive-organic-farming.

Migo Ranch & Farms is a sole-proprietor organic farming business startup spearheaded by a group of trained organic farmers (https://www.facebook.com/migoranches).

The business owner and his three startup partners are not only trained in organic farming. They have received valuable entrepreneurship training provided by SEED (www.seed.uno) through its starter program. The team has also received business capacity-building training provided by Bridges for Enterprise (www.bridgesforenterprise.com), a society based at the University of Cambridge.
