/24-7PressRelease/ - ORLANDO, FL, August 29, 2008 - Camp takes place at the YMCA Camp Wewa ropes course. For Students ages 6-9 & 10-16. Students will be divided by age groups at the Day Camp. Saturday Leadership Camp to be held September 13, 2008 8:30 am - 3:00 pm at Camp Wewa - Apopka. Cost $130 includes lunch
Orlando Day Camp includes the incredible experiential learning of a challenge/ropes course, swimming and canoeing & recap Camp DVD will be included. Students will receive coaching/mentoring in the following areas:
Character Building
Leadership/Communication Skills
Responding to Provoking/Bullying
Anger Management/Conflict Resolution Coping Skills
Support Learn to overcome fears by facing fears
Reduce Depressive symptoms by building self-confidence
Reduce Anxiety by building learning how to face fears
One of the kids parents had this to say about the Kids Leadership Camp "He really enjoyed camp... I heard descriptions of all the different stations on the ropes course and which he did and didn't do, but in particular about the vertical wall.... and how it was the hardest and how you "really had to work as a team to get everyone up and over the top and how it was really hard but they did it!"
